Lansei China Studio
100% natural coloured urushi lacquer, 100% natural orange oil, portable plastic basin, paper cards, protecting gloves, paper cups, cleaning tissues, mixing stir, pipette dropper
All lacquer needs to be used within 2 weeks after being opened. Natural lacquer has a tendency to cause allergic reactions in most people, so always wear gloves throughout the process.
What is Floating Lacquer?
Floating lacquer, or "漂漆(piāo qī)," is a unique lacquer art technique where you create patterns on the surface of water using a lacquer mixed with a solvent. You apply the lacquer by dripping or splattering it on the water, then dip your object into the water to transfer the pattern. The colors and textures formed are one-of-a-kind, thanks to the natural flow of the lacquer on water.
