Honestly, this was the very first piece that stopped us in our tracks when we stepped into Mr. Wu’s studio. The gentle scene of a lotus and waterfowl feels like a quiet summer evening—sunset glow turning the sky pink, the air still, and nature slowly drifting off to sleep. It’s a rotatable, double-sided embroidery screen, so you can spin it around and admire the delicate silk work from both sides. A peaceful little world, captured in stitches.

Employing 2-ply and 6-ply silk threads (1/16 and 3/8 of a single silk thread), the embroidery attains an unparalleled level of high-quality fineness.
