Shu Silk Embroidery DIY Kit | Morpho & Small White

Morpho butterflies feel almost unreal to us — like tiny pieces of sky flying through the rainforest. Their famous blue isn’t created by pigment at all, but by light itself. Depending on how the wings move, they shimmer, disappear, and glow differently with every angle.

That fleeting flash of blue inspired us to create this special Shu silk embroidery DIY kit.

This time, the blue morpho doesn’t come alone. We paired it with a tiny white butterfly companion — like a little drifting cloud following a piece of sky. Together, they can rest softly on your shoulders, hide in your pockets, flutter through your hair, or simply stay beside you as tiny wearable pieces of nature.

Unlike traditional flat embroidery, these butterflies are designed to feel alive — with softly sculpted wings that move and flutter gently as you wear them. It’s a project for slow hands, patient evenings, and people who love creating tiny beautiful things that feel almost impossible.

Maybe nature embroidered the morpho butterfly long before we ever could — we’re simply trying to follow its thread :)

Note: This kit is available with or without an embroidery frame. The frame can be kept and reused for future pieces. If you already have a loom or embroidery frame at home, you can simply choose the version without.
