Ronghua Haarnadel | Weiße Fliederblüte

This is a wonderful craft! I do a lot of sewing and embroidery, and I'm especially interested in ethnic embroidery traditions that have been around for centuries. I saw Lansei's videos and fell in love right away. I was worried ronghua would be too difficult (I have noticed the Chinese tradition tends to favor the more skill-intensive types of embroidery!) but I did manage to produce something lovely (after a few tries). There is a bit of a learning curve, but so much possibility once you get the hang of it. The supplies are very nice. The thread is cloud soft and beautiful, and the scissors are very sharp. Many thanks to Lansei China for the gorgeous tutorials. This has been an exciting and enriching experience for me.

Ronghua DIY Kit | Red Plum Blossom

The hair pin came in looking even more beautiful than expected - what skill! As a gardener and farmer, I tend to be picky about representations of botanicals - even this more imagined piece so respectfully understands how a flower is formed. And while delicate, I don’t feel I’m in much danger of ruining the flowers with use (hooray!).

It’s such a joy to get to hold and keep this gorgeous piece of art - I can’t imagine how wonderful it must feel to create it!

It is very difficult and I made many mistakes on my first try. So I ask what I did wrong and how to improve. And they answered and gave me advice so next I can avoid making the same mistake.

I bought several kits at once and I’m so glad I started with this one!! The kit honestly has everything you need. In the tutorial they show a ronghua stand and anti-slip powder, but both are optional — I managed to finish mine without them just fine. The wiring part was definitely challenging and I ended up practicing for a few days 😅 but I really appreciated that there’s plenty of extra silk included for practice. Also have to say — their customer service is amazing. You really don’t get this level of help very often, even from local businesses. Super happy with this experience!

But I couldn't proceed to do a single step right.

I messed up untangling and brushing the silk.
Messed up the wiring and couldn't proceed to go any further because everything was awfully looking and none of what I try to made was usable.

Guess Ronghua isn't made for me but the kit is very good and have everything you need to have a great start ✨

I love the DIY packages! I have made 4 so far and already orderd more. The costumer service is em Customer service is flawless; they respond very quickly and provide an appropriate solution.
