Reading from right to left, the four Chinese characters—荣 (Róng), 华 (Huá), 富 (Fù), 贵 (Guì)—symbolize the four worldly pursuits of the Chinese people: glory, splendor, wealth, and social status. However, not everyone attains all these aspirations in their lifetime. Incorporating them into the print is akin to self-deprecating humor. It might convey a message like, 'Look, I've already had 荣华富贵; now I can pursue something else I enjoy!'”
