About

Handmade Mulberry Paper | Silk

This was the paper of choice for Zhang Daqian, one of the most renowned Chinese artists of the 20th century. Every time he returned to China, he made a special detour to Tengchong to collect this exquisite, handmade paper.

Now, we’re so excited to share it with you! Crafted by Mr. Long, a 20th-generation papermaker, this paper is a true masterpiece. Its silky-soft texture and incredible durability make it perfect for brush painting, calligraphy, or any creative expression that deserves something extraordinary.

When we visited Mr. Long’s workshop, we were amazed to see a 500-year-old family record made with this very paper. The sheets were so thin they were almost transparent, yet the ink and characters remained perfectly preserved. It’s a testament to the lasting quality and history woven into every sheet.

Whether you’re creating art, writing a heartfelt letter, or crafting something you want to last a lifetime, this paper is more than just a medium—it’s a bridge between past and future.
