About

Handmade Ronghua | Jade Wheat Ear

Every autumn, when we drive past the golden fields near our studio (one of the perks of not being in the city center 😍), we can’t help but feel in awe of their beauty. It’s grounding, peaceful, and full of quiet strength—a reminder of how closely our lives are tied to nature.

With autumn approaching, we wanted to capture that feeling in a project you can hold in your hands. That’s how the Wheat Ear was born. 🌾

In our country, there’s been an ongoing conversation about reviving agriculture and rural communities, but challenges remain. We often ask ourselves: how can we connect our crafts more deeply with local culture and traditions? This design is our answer—a little tribute to the land, the soil, and the timeless wisdom that you reap what you sow.
