I love these dragonfly hairpins so much. They are elegant enough for a night out but not too dressy for everyday use. They make a great gift that is precious but not too pricey.

Ronghua DIY Kit | Bamboo Bonsai

This piece seems almost too beautiful to wear. I could sit and stare at it like a work of art. The colors are sumptuous and it seems very well-constructed.

It took 3 weeks to get the item. No problems at all. Went through custody without a problem. Delivered to my door. Very fine and delicate silk. Havent tried it yet though.

I’ve never made one of these from beginning to end before. I also purchased a partially made kit and then assembled it and it also turned out great. I put this project off for months because I was afraid to start. I picked it up on a Friday night and finished it Saturday. What I appreciate about the videos is that it is step by step and not everything looks perfect. It helped me get over the hump of wanting the petals to look perfect. Some of my petals were wonky and I felt it made it look more real. I lost a lot of silk as they kept falling out of the wires but there was enough silk threads provided to compensate. That was the most frustrating part. Once complete, I loved it even more for the wonky petals. Thanks so much for making the kits and videos available. I’m Chinese and want to learn more about the traditional crafts. I have 2 more kits to start and finish.

The tool kit is great and the silk threads are good quality.

I really love the quality of the materials sent, including the tool kit. Everything was packaged nicely and delivered promptly, THROUGH the nonsense with the tariffs! Opening the kit was so exciting. :) I felt very prepared to make my first ronghua! But I found that I struggled a lot with the process of brushing out the silk even after following the tutorials--it always snagged and looked so, so ugly--so even though the kit itself is high quality, I wasn't able to understand the process enough to complete it. So, my low rating isn't really about the product you're purchasing on this page, but about the support available from Lansei for total beginners. I'm probably going to continue trying to figure out where I'm going wrong at the brushing stage, and then I'll reorder the kit to try it again.

ETA: After I posted this review, Lansei reached out to me and directed me to a livestream where they'll be doing a detailed brushing tutorial! I'm really pleased with the responsiveness from Lansei and am hopeful that I will finally figure out the silk brushing--will update this review further after my next attempt!

ETA: I have SUCCESSFULLY produced ronghua flowers after the livestream, which was very helpful and thoughtful! I can wholeheartedly recommend this product & the company's support. I'm leaving the original review text up so folks can see that Lansei is very professional and helpful. :D

Stand came well packaged and is sturdy and well made. Delivery was really fast.
